奇怪了，我这台机器的MYSQL就是弄不好，2.4也不行
每次安装的时候PUTTY都会有一声“嘟”的错误，都是在安装到这里的时候Making install in win

那个[FAILED]似乎就是错误，安装完毕有3行连续的ERROR 2002，然后service mysqld start提示的是
Starting Mysql.Manager of pid-file quit without updating fi[FAILED]
就不行了，昨晚弄了一夜，2.2，2.3都试了，然后给客服留了言，让他帮我把这个VPS初始化一下，今早看到出了2.4，而且VPS又初始化了，应该没问题了，结果还是这样，仔细一看出错的内容，似乎是chown出错，于是我创建了/www/wdlinux/mysql/var这个目录，然后chown mysql:mysql 这个目录
再service mysqld start，问题依旧
现在默认页面可以打开，就是8080提示无法连接mysql，请检查mysql是否已启动及用户密码是否设置正确!:
求老大帮忙。。。。 **** 作者被禁止或删除 内容自动屏蔽 **** CentOS 5.7 32位标准版 啥都没 我在这家又开了一个试用的VPS，一样的系统，居然没问题。。。。难道我这台被诅咒了？ 你看下/www/wdlinux/msyql/var目录下有没内容?
正常情况下,这里会有
mysql
test
两个目录
以及一两个文件 如果没有,就是在安装创建mysql数据库时没成功 没有。。。。。只有一个err文件。。我帖出来。。老大救命。。。

这是啥意思。。。。 另外老大说的2.4新出的rpm安装5分钟就完事应该怎么弄啊，我这还是编译的，将近一个小时 可以了 /etc/hosts根本这文件就不存在，够坑爹的 什么系统?怎么会没这个文件?
